The plastic bottom is ventilated and angled slightly so eggs won't roll out of the nest. The box ships unassembled to save space and shipping costs, and measures 10.4 in. long x 19.7 in. wide x 17.7 in. high when assembled.

The hinged cover allows easy access to eggs, and the sloped roof prevents roosting. Hardware for wall mounting and complete instructions are included.
