The HIGHEST DENSITY acoustic foam on the market is great for spot treating your listening environment. This egg-crate acoustic foam helps block sound to reduce noise and prevent echoes inside the room, making it ideal for music studios, recording studios, home theaters, vocal booths, karaoke studios, and more. By controlling your room's acoustics, it reduces standing waves and flutter echoes in small to medium-sized rooms. Our products are fire-rated and have passed the CLASS A ASTM E84 test for residential applications, offering 15-20% better soundproofing performance compared to foam of the same thickness.

Each sheet of this egg-crate acoustic foam measures 39 inches by 78 inches (exactly 1 meter wide by 2 meters long), covering 21 square feet. For orders of two or more sheets, we tape multiple sheets together at the back and roll them into one large sheet for your convenience. The foam has a self-adhesive backing for easy installation.

Please note that the foam comes compressed and may require a few extra days to fully expand, especially in colder winter temperatures. To speed up the process, you can use a garment steamer if you cannot wait. Rest assured, the foam will eventually rebound to its full 1.5-inch thickness.

It's important to remember that this acoustic foam is intended for indoor use only and is best at soundproofing the room where it is installed. If your goal is to reduce noise coming from a neighbor's room, it would be more effective to use the foam in their room rather than your own. Using it in your own room will only help to reduce about a third of the noise from the neighbor's room, so we do not recommend purchasing it for that purpose, as you may be disappointed with the results.

For installation, please do not peel off the entire paper backing all at once. Instead, gently peel the paper off the back, a foot at a time, as you align and attach the foam to the wall or ceiling. Be sure to clean the surface beforehand to remove any dust. Adjustments can be made as you proceed with the installation.

Finally, a reminder to "warm it up" in the winter. The adhesive can become thicker and more stagnant in cold temperatures, so it's best to store the product at room temperature or higher before installation. Double-check that the surface is clean and smooth before proceeding.
